DESIGNATED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

As a member of TDECE Local I enjoy participating in the available workshops, and community rally's. I currently am an Executive Member of the Equity Committee where I am organizing events for this years upcoming PRIDE, and initiatives around Culturally Responsive, and Relevant Pedagogy for DECE's.

As a Designated ECE I have the unique opportunity of supplying in classrooms in various Toronto schools. It has provided a different perspective on the joys, and challenges of education that I hope to address in my role as a teacher one day. The opportunities I have been privileged to access through my role have led to me to strengthen my knowledge, and make many lasting friendships with like minded educators.
