As a devote Catholic I enjoy attending church on Sunday's with my family, and volunteering my time as a Facilitator for the Confirmation classes of students in Grade 7 from St. Charles Catholic Elementary School, St. Cosmas, and St. Damian Catholic Elementary School, Regina Mundi Catholic Elementary School, and those from other area schools. 

Working alongside three other Facilitators, and Coordinators for the program I have developed a stronger sense of faith, and community as I help guide these Catholic youth into their own faith journeys. It is important that they have a solid foundation of their likeness, and image of God for they themselves are children of God. Instilling confidence within their faith so that they do not waiver, and learn to question, and understand who it is that they are, and the importance of living a life of Christ, and goodness. 

Throughout the lessons students explore different types of prayer, and how they may look within their daily lives. We discuss the importance of leaning on God not only in times of need, but especially when things are well for us. We also explored the ways we can incorporate our faith in our daily lives that are meaningful to us so that we can sustain our faith, and become active members within our faith communities. Understanding why it is that observe particular Holy days, knowing all of the prayers of mass, and understanding scripture are all ways we explored Catholicism together.
